Advance Booking

We recommend booking sipnics at least two weeks before your desired sipnic date. We want to accommodate you in any way possible.  If there is a booking closer to the desired sipnic date, please make sure you contact us directly by email @sipnicsbynasma@gmail.com or mobile phone @340-626-0403 to confirm availability beforehand.

 

Booking Deposit

Once you solidify your sipnic date, you are required to pay a Nonrefundable Booking Deposit of 50% of your “Sipnic Total” This deposit confirms your date and time of picnic. This booking deposit is nonrefundable. This deposit will be used towards the “Sipnic Total”. You will receive an invoice within 48 hours to include the balance of your picnic and any additional fees or add-ons.  This balance must be paid seven (7) days before your experience.

 

Booking Times
Each Sipnic service lasts 2-3 hours. Each additional hour is $50.00. Your artist will arrive approximately 1 hour prior to set up your experience. We will remain at the site to greet you. Once you arrive, we will let you enjoy your unique sipnic experience.  If you would like to leave earlier than the scheduled time, please provide us with at least thirty (30) minute notice by call or text and wait for a confirmation response, so we can arrive back for break down. You are responsible for all sipnic items until we return to pack them up at the arranged time.  All start times are in the local time zone.

Late Arrivals

Your sicnic begins at the scheduled time you select during your booking. We understand that life is perfectly imperfect, so will give a 15-minute grace period.  Each sipnic is hand crafted for your personal indulgence. Your on-time arrival will ensure that you receive the full experience that awaits.  If you are more than 15 minutes late, we will charge you a convenience fee of $50.00.

 

Weather

We live in the Caribbean and although we usually have sipnic weather year-round, it can sometimes be unpredictable. We will check the weather at least two days (48 hours) before your scheduled sipnic.  If the weather seems questionable, we will contact you to discuss options.  Unfortunately, we cannot refund bookings based on weather. However, if feasible we will always try our best to accommodate last minute location changes and honor your deposit with adjustments to reschedule your sipnic date up to six months from the original booking.

 

Rain Clause

If the forecast predicts more than 40% chance of rain or more on the day of the event, then we will provide the opportunity to reschedule the sipnic. In the case you prefer taking the risk to proceed with your scheduled sipnic, we will ask that you sign a waiver stating that you acknowledge the chance of rain that there will be NO REFUNDS or RESCHEDULING.

 

Locations

Our goal is to provide and luxurious indoor or outdoor experience.  We live on a picturesque island, so the location is entirely up to you.  If you wish, we will provide you with ideas and you will let us know your preference.

 

Cancellations

Should you have to cancel your picnic reservation, please let us know three (3) business days (72 hours) before your scheduled sipnic time, by emailing us at sipnicsbynasma@gmail.com and texting us @340-626-0403. Please be mindful that all fees paid are non-refundable.  All cancellations incur a $100 cancellation fee.

 

BYOF + D

Food and beverages are not included in your sipnic. If you would like to bring your own drinks and food, please let us know that it is your preference! We will gladly accommodate you. Food and drink purchases can also be made on the site as an “Add-on”. 

Customer Responsibility

We would love to share our unique sipnic experience with all.  The customer is responsible for the return of all materials in the same condition. Damaged items will be billed for the cost of each item. Sipnic is not responsible and will not be held liable for any accidental injury incurred while using picnic equipment.

Missing, Broken & Damaged Equipment

All our equipment is used on a regular basis. Therefore, reasonable signs of wear and tear are to be expected.

Each piece is carefully inspected prior to packing. However, the client will be required to inspect the equipment to ensure all requested items have been provided and that each piece is free of damage and contact the hire company if there are any issues. Failure to contact the hire company within the two (2) hour window will result in the client being liable for any damage. The client is liable for any equipment damaged in transit if being transported by the client.

The hire company is unable to deal with any problem such as rectifying a shortage or replacing a damaged item unless it is highlighted within the two (2) hour period.

If an item is broken, the client is required to carefully collect the broken pieces (where possible) and return to the hire company. If collecting the pieces is not possible (i.e. a shattered glass) the client should take a photo and send to the hire company for records.

If a lost item is located after being paid for, the client may return it to the hire company (in its original state) within ten (10) days to obtain a refund of the bond amount paid.

 

Liability

The hire company shall in no way be held responsible or accountable for any damage, injury, death, or loss of income caused to the client, any third parties, or properties due to the hire of equipment or provided services by the hiring company.  All equipment is hired and is the responsibility of the client until returned to the hire company.
